Situated on two hundred twenty-five kilometers from Melbourne, Mount Buller is a well-known and one of the largest ski resorts in the Australian state of Victoria. Mt Buller has a wide range of terrain and a great, lively atmosphere with many bars, restaurants, nightclubs, a cinema complex, university and ski-in ski-out accommodation, alpine chalets, excellent hotels and a variety of tourist attractions and good nightlife. The resort, located at 1600 meters above the sea level has a total of twenty-five lifts with capacity of 39500 riders per hour. There are 18 individual ski pistes giving access to more than three hundred hectares of skiable terrain.
Mount Buller has two toboggan parks and 268 snow cannons covering with man-made snow twenty kilometers of the ski slopes, which is the largest snowmaking capacity in the country. The resort is very suitable for snowboarders with fantastic natural boarding terrain and a snow tubing park.
