Situated in the northern area of Kosciuszko National Park and Snowy River Shire (New South Wales), only seven kilometers away from Kiandra, the winter village of Selwyn Snowfields (1492 meters elevation) is mainly a family oriented resort, suitable for beginner and intermediate skiers and snowboarders. The snow sports at Selwyn Snowfields include downhill skiing/snowboarding, cross-country, snow shoeing, tobogganing. The ski resort is also close to the town of Adaminaby, and Cabramurra - which is the highest town in Australia and only two hour drive from the capital Canberra.
