The village has 5 lifts (1 triple chairlift, 1 T-bar, 2 pomas and a J-bar) and offers skiing and snowboarding on 50 hectares of skiable terrain. The alpine scenery of Charlotte Pass is magnificent and the skiing conditions are excellent for families and beginners. If you are cross-country skiing lover then you can practice such on Mount Kosciusko, which is the largest mountain in the country. There is also excellent accommodation at the historic Kosciusko Chalet.
Charlotte Pass Skiing Holidays
Overall, Charlotte Pass is a quiet area, without cars and crowds and no long queues for the lift facilities. Charlotte Pass ski resort has only around a dozen of club lodges, chalets and hotel accommodation, which makes it preferred from families and romantic winter trips of couples.
Due to its altitude, the ski resort of Charlotte Pass receives significant snowfalls and usually provides with excellent snow conditions for skiing and snowboarding. However, just in case there are and few snow cannons. Charlotte Pass has good variety of pistes - from the gentle runs of Easy Does It and the Home Run to the way more difficult of Guthries Chutes and the Kangaroo Ridge Cornice, so there’s decent choice of slopes for every skier’s or snowboarder’s capability.
